Job Description

Project Engineer position has opened up on a project thats just kicking off and will run until 2027

  • Work for a genuine tier 1 civil contractor
  • Newly started project in western Sydney - will run for 5years
  • "Shovels just in the ground" so get involved right from the start
  • Run the Utilities package
  • Management team where employee development is front and center at all times. You'll join as a Project Engineer, but from day one on the track to develop to SPE
As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for: 
  • Manage project activities and work scope
  • Liaise with Client, Subcontractors and all project stakeholders
  • Acting as focal point for technical advice on contractual matters and providing the project with best practice construction methods
  • Ensure project is delivered in scope of contractual constraints
  • Management of plant, labour and materials
  • Monitor monthly forecasts
The requirements for the Project Engineer are:
  • Degree qualified as a Civil Engineer, Construction Management, or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience in civil infrastructure construction, ideally with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor delivering infrastructure projects
  • Experience in managing utilities scope
  • Effective communications skills and  experienced in client and sub-contractor management
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
