Job Description

Design and Build have a unique opportunity for a Project Manager to join one of Australia's leading tier 3 contractors who operating across the commercial fitout, refurbishment and maintenance sectors with a national delivery capability.

With a secure pipeline of work, they are looking to appoint a Project Manager. The role will be office based Monday - Friday and offers long term development and progression to senior management.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for:
  • Setting programs and budgets from pre-construction through to handover
  • Managing client and consultant relationships
  • Driving construction teams and subcontractors on site
  • Bringing projects in on time, to quality and under budget
To be considered for the position of Project Manager you will require:
  • Bachelor Degree in Building, Construction Management or relevant industry qualifications
  • 5+ years experience as a PM working on commercial construction projects
  • Experience project managing commercial fitout and refurbishment projects valued from $50k to $5m
  • Client facing with a proven track record in working well under pressure
  • Sound knowledge of the NSW construction market including sub-contractors etc.
  • Ability to lead and performance manage a construction team to achieve agreed outcome
