Job Description

Project Manager - Townhouse Development

Oversee the development process and the delivery of urban development projects. Meet expectations and adhere to building standards and building codes.

Plan and coordinate the development process, including the hiring of contractors, engineers, architects and other relevant parties.

Key duties of the role of Project Manager 

  • Manage stakeholders on design and developmental concepts
  • Involvement or Pre DA and DA process
  • Reviewing all project documentation including plans 
  • Manage the Building Approval process
  • Oversee contract administration and tendering 
  • Ensure contracts are fulfilled through to post construction
  • Ensure quality standards and health and safety are adhered to
  • Site monitoring to ensure compliance with all aspects of contract
  • Ensure records are kept of expenditure, accounting, costing and billing against progress payments
  • Ensure all works are undertaken within budget constraints
To be considered for the role of Project Manager, you should meet the below

  • Construction or Engineering Degree
  • Ideally 5 years experience within residential or commercial development construction
  • Detailed understanding of construction methods
  • Good communication skills
