Quality Assurance Associate

Location: Based in the Inner Northern Suburbs
Duration: 9 Months contract 
Salary: $90-110 per hour based on experience

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance Associate to join a leading manufacturing business, working on a highly interesting project. The position will be based in the Inner Northern Suburbs of Melbourne, close to the CBD and is on a contract basis. 
-Responsible for all activities involving quality assurance and compliance with applicable regulatory requirements; supports conduct of regulatory audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentation.
-Perform the Document Coordinator function
-Issue and route controlled documents in accordance with the company’s procedures, ensuring relevant information is updated and maintained
-Ensure compliance of R&D Documentation with procedures
-Review documentation in terms of compliance with pre-determined template standards and style requirements
-Assist in the implementation of documentation policies and systems within R&D
-Collate, measure and analyse statistics in respect of Document Change status and performance
-Action document control and training enquires in a proactive and timely manner
-Provide customer service, advice and training to R&D staff in the document control
-Create, maintain and update training roles and curricula for R&D employees
-Maintain currency of R&D staff training requirements and certification
-Collate data for Quality Management Review and send out report on a monthly basis
-Collate, measure and analyse statistics in respect to Document and Training performance for R&D
-Strong excel skills for coordination of KPIs and monthly reporting
-Assign training to new employees, contingent workers and transferred employee in coordination with managers to ensure compliance
-Facilitate GxP training sessions, and maintain quality training in the LMS and ensure GMP compliance.
-Provide customer service, advice and training to R&D staff in the LMS
-Assist in site internal, regulatory and customer audits by providing document and training records and reports
-Initiate and participate in Continuous Improvement activities
-Identify training gaps and coordinate with departments to address gaps
-Supplier Qualification for GLP/GCLP
-Support GLP/GCLP audits when needed
-Relevant tertiary qualification is desirable
-At least two years’ experience in either operations, manufacturing, quality assurance or process development within a GxP environment.
-At least 1-2 years experience in electronic document and learning management system and relevant database use and management.
-Experience in Document Management and training management systems.
-Good interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
-Strong customer service focus
-Ability to work well independently and to self-motivate
-Well-developed organizational and time management skills
-Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word)
-Strong oral and written communication skills
-Ability to work effectively independently and as a team member when required
-Ability to prioritize work
-High familiarity with Documentation Management Systems, Learning Management Systems
-Previous experience in the implementation of an electronic records / documentation system
-Previous experience in Information Management (documentation, archives, records management)

-Strong understanding of and experience in GxP Pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is desirable.
-Experience in DMS (Documentum D2), TrackWise, and/or LMS (Plateau) is desirable
