Job Description

Design and Build are representing a family owned civil contractor with a great reputation in the Geelong region.

Our client have been supporting civil projects for over 30 years and have continued to grow year on year.

To sustain this level of growth and to keep up with increased client demand in the region they are looking to hire a senior estimator with a strong local reputation.

The requirements

Tertiary qualified with a proven ability for first principles estimating
Demonstrated success for delivering strong tender outcomes in Victoria
Previous estimating experience on Vic roads / gov projects would be advantageous though not essential
Ability to convert project programs in to solid and well-organized site activities.

Exceeding project time line and profit outcomes is an expectation for the senior estimator.
A natural multi tasker who doesn't become flustered under pressure.
Comfortable relaying complex numbers and details to internal and external stakeholders
Lead a team of junior estimators
Estimate across Road, rail, recreation, commercial & residential
