Job Description

The Company:

A household name in residential building, with an excellent reputation for their quality builds, as well as a great team environment and well developed systems/processes.  Currently building over 1000 homes per year in VIC, they have plenty of work in the pipeline for years to come. A business with excellent staff tenure - work alongside and experienced and supportive team. 
  
They are currently seeking a Master Drawings Coordinator, to coordinate their masters function of the R&D team - quality checking, managing workflow and facilitating continuous improvement within the department. 
 
The Role:

Reporting to an experienced and approachable Manager, your responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and coordinating the final Master Drawings 
  • Managing workflow and overseeing QA on jobs 
  • Ensuring all plans comply with ResCode and building regulations
  • Assist with ongoing training and development of overseas staff
  • Liaise with internal departments regarding new options and releases
  • Facilitating continuous improvement of systems and processes.
About You:
 
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • 5+ years’ experience in residential drafting (development drafting or design exposure preferred)
  • A qualification relevant to the construction industry
  • AutoCAD software skills essential
  • A proactive approach to your work and ability to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines and effectively manage workflow 
  • Great communication skills to liaise with both internal staff and external contractors
