Job Description

About the client: 
With over 7000 fulltime employees and 25 years experience as a respected civil contractor, my client is looking for a senior estimator to join thier Bunbury office.
  
About the role: 
Located at the Bunbury office, the right Senior Estimator would be responsible for;
  
  • Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with stakeholders, cliennts, suppliers and sub-contractors
  • The preperation of cost estimates in detail and be able to show the methodology and approach in development of the estimate
  • Assisting the Project Manager with supplier and subcontractor agreements after the project has been awarded
  • Identify and highlight contract and cost options for porfitable and sustainable tendors  
  • Ensuring estimates are prepared with the latest market pricing
  • Liase, work and follow up with consultant and clients post tender phase.
Requirements for the role: 
  • Ability to organise multiple packages simutaneously
  • Manage both internal and external stakeholders
  • Tertiary Qualification in Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience estimating in the mechanical engineering industry for OEM, design and construct packages
  • ISO9001 Quality Standards understanding
  • Use of Expert Estimator or equivalent (Highly desirable).
