Founded in 2012 with the aim to service a niche market in Western Australia’s civil construction industry. My client specializes in delivering technically complex and challenging projects within heavily urbanized environments and provide innovative solutions.

About the Role
An opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the team has arisen. Being responsible for delivering and closing out projects through stages safely and profitably, the right person will lead in the life cycle of projects whilst building strong relationships with key clients.


The Role:
  • Design the Project Management Plan including the project control metrics.
  • Verifying activities are carried out in accordance with the company’s safety, quality assurance and environmental management systems
  • Execute inspection, engineering, scheduling, technical planning, procurement and quality control functions for allotted project issues;
  • Provide assistance to complicated site construction issues and contribute specialist construction skills
  • Set up and head a project team ensuring cohesion and team work to achieve positive results
  • Analyse construction work and provide in-depth knowledge on technical input and compliance with specifications and requirements
  • Sustain client relationship through efficient and professional stakeholder discussions during project delivery
  • Identify and manage risks and opportunities
  • Ensure the correct allotment of resources and materials to achieve project completion within required timeframe, budget and quality
  • Comply with project controls including project scheduling, monitoring, and reporting progress, cost and productivity, project cost forecasting and change/variation management.
  • Aiding in the tendering process by creating tender lists, evaluating tenders, budgets, time and preparing the recommendations to award contracts;
  • Work with supply chain partners to efficiently add value and diversity in supply
  • Keep on top of current and emerging developments, trends and applicable current legislative requirements
  • Compile engineering analysis of projects including: preliminary design, detailed design and equipment selection;
  • Monitoring of delivery against scope or contract obligations – recognizing, preparing, submitting, and negotiating variations
About You
This role will best be suited for a highly adaptable and committed individual who has a desire for delivering positive client outcomes, and excels in fast-paced and challenging environments.

Must have skills and experience;


  • Previous experience with working on Road and Civil projects.
  • An understanding of Public Transport Authority and City Council projects 
  • Working with Water Mains, Drainage and Earthworks
  • Able to work autonomously but also work within a team when needs
  • Working experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project & Outlook
  • Previous experience managing stakeholders at different levels
  • An ability to provide sound solutions with attention to the required detail
  • Understanding and knowledge of the Project Delivery life cycle
  • Strong client focus and ability to build on relationships both internally and externally;
  • Sound planning skills and commercial acumen
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications within the Engineering, Project Management, and/or Civil Construction fields
