About the role
I am working with an established contractor who are looking for a technically minded individual, with a relevant engineering degree combined with experience in Civil Construction on medium to large scale multidisciplinary projects, ideally in Australia. TfNSW, ARTC and/or Sydney Trains experience required. 

Key duties of the role are:
  • Manage staff and subcontractors to achieve a team and collaborative environment to meet project objectives;
  • Assist with the preparation of site construction budgets and reports;
  • Manage and report on assigned projects;
  • Prepare financial and progress status in accordance with the project requirements;
  • Establish and update construction programs;
  • Ensure risks are identified and that they are managed throughout the term of the project and conveyed clearly to project staff;
  • Work in conjunction with other Project Engineers and Site Engineers on the program to develop project construction plans and methodology;
  • Responsible for effective implementation of Rail Safety Management and Systems;
  • Ensure compliance with PQP, OH&S, Environmental and other relevant Legislation requirements.
What you need
  • 5-7+ years' engineering project management experience.
  • Degree qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent degree.
  • Rail, building and civil background preferred TfNSW, ARTC and/or Sydney trains experience required. 
  • Proven ability to manage and deliver multidisciplinary projects.
  • Ability to assess and determine commercial impacts on project requirements.
