Job Description

  • Newly awarded transport project in Western Sydney - will run for 3 years

  • Management team where employee development is front and center at all times. The Project Director wants you to become a Project Manager and will give you the scope to do this
  • Manage the structures packages - which includes a number of complex bridges with some innovative techniques 
As the Senior Project Engineer you will be responsible for: 
  • Manage project activities and work scope
  • Leadership of Project Engineers & Site Engineers
  • Liaise with Client, Subcontractors and all project stakeholders
  • Acting as focal point for technical advice on contractual matters and providing the project with best practice construction methods
  • Ensure project is delivered to programmen, budget and the highest safety standards
  • Management of plant, labour and materials
  • Monitor monthly forecasts
The requirements for the Senior Project Engineer are:
  • Degree qualified as a Civil Engineer, Construction Management, or equivalent
  • 3+ years experience as an SPE on civil infrastructure construction, ideally with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor delivering infrastructure projects
  • Effective communications skills and  experienced in client and sub-contractor management
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
