Design & Build Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer for a reputable multinational engineering consultancy in Sydney, to join their building services discipline and get involved in leading commercial projects.

As a Lead Mechanical Design Engineer within this leading multidisciplinary consultancy you will be responsible for:
  • Technical design input and project management on a range of complex projects with varying sizes
  • Concepts and detailed mechanical engineering design across a broad range of projects 
  • Supporting business development-related activities with new and existing clients
  • Participation in the review, supervision, and development of technical skills within the team
  • Manage / mentor and grow mechanical team.
To be considered for the position of Lead Mechanical Engineer you will require:
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven experience within a reputable engineering consultancy - 5-10 years 
  • Ability to advise clients on cost-effective, sustainable solutions
  • Strong technical analysis and reporting skills
  • Ability to supervise and offer mentorship when required to less-experienced team members.
