Job Description

The Company 
You will be working with a team of true specialists in the signalling field who deliver signalling engineering expertise across a number of major projects with a large client base. We are looking for experienced Signalling Design Engineers who are wanting to work for a company that can offer you the opportunity to work across the entire signalling project lifecycle. This company are an Australian owned business with a reputation for excellence and delivering outstanding services to clients.

The Role 
As an experienced Signalling Design Engineer, you will be a position to lead projects and project teams while working with company leadership to continue developing business opportunity. You will be a key point of contact for clients and project teams and provide detailed signalling design solutions. There is a great opportunity to mentor and develop junior engineers as they gain the skill set to become just like you. 

The position will involve: 
    • Detailed signalling scope of works 
    • Signalling functional specifications
    • Signalling design plans
    • Preparation and review of technical reports and specifications
    • Development and specification of design standards
    • Operational and train safe working specifications
    • Preparation of testing and commissioning plans and test certificate.
    • Identifying and confirming source inputs to design
What we are looking for
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years experience in design and signalling project delivery environment
  • Working knowledge of practice/standards and other relevant codes
