Job Description

The Company:

A national engineering consultancy offering their established client base expertise across structural, temporary works, civil projects. Their team is multi-disciplinary and works to a philosophy of genuine collaboration to provide creative yet practical engineering solutions. 

The role:
  • Delivery of technically accurate, cost effective and optimum designs in accordance with Australian standards
  • Contribute to innovative and technical improvement projects and designs
  • Exposure to Business operations of the department
  • Responsible for mentoring and assisting more junior staff
  • Undertake structural and temporary works engineering tasks of various scope and complexity
  • Work on the development of engineering designs and drafting of project plans and specifications
  • Manage project scopes and interface with key clients enabling professional development in areas outside of just design
 Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum Bachelor in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • CPEng status is ideal
  • Minimum 6+ years' experience working in a consultancy environment
  • Excellent in time management
  • Proven technical capability and problem solving skills
  • Experience of managing and delivering projects within the time frame and to budget
  • Excellent team management 
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in the work environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
