The opportunity 
You will be working on some of the most challenging and interesting rail infrastructure projects in Australia. We are looking for a Permanent way design engineer who can work in a multi-disciplinary approach who can generate quality design and support clients to achieve project outcomes. 

You will: 
  • Take accountability for leading track designs and integrating the track elements into multi-disciplinary rail projects; 
  • Provide subject matter expertise on track related technical advice to clients;
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers; 
  • undertake checking and verification and independent review on track design; 
  • Support regional offices when required; 
  • contribute to business development activities to further business opportunities for the Australasian rail group. 

What will make you right for the role 
  • Relevant engineering degree
  • 4-10 years experience in rail track design 
  • Use of Bentley MicroStation, Bentley RailTrack or PowerRail 
  • Keen to progress your career - The skies the limit!
