Site Manager – Major Projects

Design & Build have partnered exclusively with Richard Crookes to recruit a Site Manager for their Major Projects team, working on upcoming commercial new build projects valued $100M+

Roles & responsibilities:
  • Effective onsite management of all site resources including subcontractors, trades, staff and equipment
  • Delivery of projects safely, efficiently and effectively through meeting the project success criteria’s of stakeholder relationships, time, cost, quality, safety and process compliance
  • Lead, manage and mentor team members to achieve their full potential and ensure behaviours are aligned with company values
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
  • Supervise and coordinate all site activities including labour
  • Ensure effective planning and communication of all activities
Desired experience:
  • Trade background
  • Previous experience working for a Tier 2 or Tier 1 head contractor is essential
  • Have a proven record as a Site Manager delivering major commercial new build projects valued $100M+
  • Proven experience of effectively managing a team including sub-contractors, in a professional manner and ensuring longevity of relationships.
  • Good understanding of health and safety legislation and requirements, has proven experience of effectively controlling site safety
