Job Description

This company is well established in the Newcastle area for new homes. They have several medium density townhouse and detached home projects starting up and also have a high end home range of homes of custom homes they build. 

They build 400 homes a year plus additional commercial projects such as schools, industrial sheds, and fast food stations. 

Office support with estimating, drafting/design and customer service teams in place to assist with the day to day tasks and problem solving. 

The office offers a stable and long term career with a growing team and the ability to work with the assistance of a Site Foreman. 

This role can offer an immediate start.

The role: 
  • Managing multi-res housing sites (10-50 homes on a block)
  • Managing the civil groundworks to completion/handover
  • Coordinate, program and schedule jobs, trades and materials
  • Oversee site staff and liaise with internal office staff (Estimators, Drafters..) 
  • Solve design and construction issues that arise on site
  • Report to the Construction Manager in the Newcastle office and work with the Project Manager assigned to the job
  • Work with a Site Foreman 
To be considered you must have:
  • Similar experience delivering new-built homes or commercial new builds 
  • Technical experience and the ability to manage various trades on site
  • Excellent communication skills and previous experience of liaising with both internal employees and external suppliers and stakeholders
  • A drivers license and white card 
  • Strong computer literacy required
