Job Description

My client is an established, internationally renowned, large consultancy who have currently won a number of major buildings and infrastructure projects across Australia. Due to this substantial growth to their pipeline, they're looking for a number of Revit Drafters to join their drafting team in Sydney.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Structural Revit Drafter will include:
  • Detailed structural design of infrastructure projects using revit 
  • Hands on analysis and design for a range of clients
  • Problem solving
  • Lead a small project-based team, and mentor junior staff 
  • Ensuring that all designs are up to Australian Standards
  • Working closely with key stakeholders through continual liaison from conception to completion.
Day to day activities will include:
  • Creating drawings end-end and adhering to requirements
  • Working with the design team & senior management to produce structural plans, sections & details using REVIT
  • Clear communication across multi-disciplinary teams, internally and externally
  • Setting up and organising relevant software programs
  • Occasionally undertake site visits and liaise with clients
The successful candidates will have:
  • Ideally at least 3 years demonstrated local drafting experience
  • REVIT proficiency essential
  • mid-large scale project experience across buildings and/or infrastructure
  • Capability to manage own workload and priorities 
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
