Job Description

Town Planner required to join a leading construction and property development company providing industrial property solutions for over 45 years. With a passion to excel in client satisfaction, they are focused on setting new benchmarks for industrial warehousing, factory space and agricultural infrastructure projects across NSW, ACT & Victoria.

As the Town Planner, you will be responsible for:

Navigate applications through respective council and state agencies, considering all relevant legislations, policies and procedures
Communicate clearly, effectively and honestly with the client and various consultants
Accurately and regularly report on the current status on various DAs and CDCs under your management
Ability to read and understand construction drawings

To be considered for the position of Town Planner you will require:

Tertiary qualification in Urban Planning or other related discipline with a minimum of (2) two years relevant experience
Ability and willingness to influence and negotiate with relevant consultants, local and state government officers and agencies
Ability to develop positive working relationships with internal team members, external clients, local and state government officers and state agencies
Understands the DA / CDC planning process and have experience in working with councils and their town planners
Strong verbal and written communication skills
