Job Description

Our client is one of the state's leading head contractors in the fit-out and construction space with recent tenders being won, leading to a large pipeline of work in 2022.

This role is a site-based role located in Sydney's CBD completing an exciting fit-out & refurbishment project.

Roles and Responsibilities will include:

Pre-starts, site safety walks & inspections
Assist in the preparation of health and safety plans
Ensure legislation is adhered to
Investigate and report on any incidents
Provide training to team members
Conduct reviews and risk analysis
Manage and develop relationships with employees and subcontractors

To be considered for the role, you will require:

Minimum Cert IV in OH&S
3+ years' experience in a Health & Safety role
Experience working on commercial/residential fit-out projects
Strong understanding of latest OH&S legislation
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage deadline
Time management skills
Excellent communication & problem solving skills
