Hybrid BDM / Account Manager | NSW | Embedded Networks

A growing embedded network operator with strong backing and a community-first culture is looking for a hybrid BDM and account manager to help grow and protect its NSW presence. This is a role for someone who can do both, manage existing relationships and strata partnerships while also identifying new opportunities and turning around tenders efficiently.

About the role

The NSW market has its nuances, and this business knows it. Rather than a pure hunter, they're looking for someone who can hold the line on existing accounts, respond to and win tender RFPs, and build genuine relationships with strata managers and building owners. Over time, this person will be developed into a more senior sales capacity as the team grows.

If you're earlier in your embedded network career, or coming from a strata or property background looking to transition into energy, this is a strong platform to build from.

What you'll be doing
  • Managing and growing relationships with strata managers and building owners across NSW
  • Responding to and turning around tender RFPs in a timely and compelling way
  • Retaining and expanding the existing customer base
  • Identifying new embedded network opportunities as they arise
  • Acting as the face of the business for day-to-day account queries and escalations
What you'll bring
  • Experience in embedded networks, utilities, strata management or a related field
  • Comfortable managing tenders and proposals end to end
  • A mix of account management and business development skills, you can farm and hunt
  • Strong communicator who can build trust with building managers and strata professionals
  • Based in NSW with the ability to travel for client meetings
  • Someone who fits a young, close-knit team where people actually enjoy coming to work
