A highly regarded Melbourne-based architecture and interior design studio is seeking an experienced ArchiCAD contractor to provide additional support across a growing portfolio of residential and multi-residential projects.
Following several recent project wins, the studio is looking to bring on a technically strong documenter or interior designer who can hit the ground running and assist the team through a busy project delivery period.
This is an initial 2-month contract commencing in July, with the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative and design-focused team delivering high-quality projects for a strong client base.
The Role
Working closely with the studio team, you will primarily support projects through the Design Development and Construction Documentation phases, helping to deliver accurate and coordinated documentation packages within tight project timeframes.
This is a documentation-focused role rather than a concept design position, making it ideal for someone who enjoys the technical side of project delivery and has strong ArchiCAD capability.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed Design Development and Construction Documentation packages
- Produce high-quality architectural and interior documentation using ArchiCAD
- Develop project details, drawings and technical documentation
- Assist with project delivery across multiple residential and multi-residential projects
- Work collaboratively with the wider design team to ensure documentation is completed accurately and efficiently
- Support the team in meeting project deadlines across a busy project pipeline
- Proven experience producing documentation packages autonomously
- Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD is essential
- Experience working through Design Development and Construction Documentation stages
- Background in residential, multi-residential or boutique architectural/interiors projects preferred
- Strong technical detailing and documentation skills
- Ability to work efficiently within established studio standards and processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Available to commence at short notice
