We’re working with a well-established construction business delivering high-quality commercial and retail fit out projects across Sydney. Due to a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to bring on an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery team on a long-term contract basis.
This role will be primarily office-based, with regular site visits to ensure projects are running smoothly from planning through to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of commercial fit out and retail projects from inception to handover
- Support senior Project Managers with programming, procurement, and project coordination
- Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and clients
- Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines
- Attend site visits and assist with resolving on-site issues
- Ensure documentation, reporting, and compliance requirements are maintained
- 3–4 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator or Assistant Project Manager role
- Background in commercial fit out and/or retail projects
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in construction and project management tools
- Relevant construction or project management qualifications preferred
