About the Role

Working closely with the Managing Director and estimating team, you’ll play a central role in shaping and driving a high-quality bid pipeline. This is a hands-on position where strategic thinking meets execution—you’ll bring clarity, structure, and creativity to how we pursue and win work.

Responsibilities
  • Take full ownership of the bid lifecycle—from post-qualification through to submission, negotiation, and seamless handover to delivery.
  • Lead the end-to-end bid process, setting the strategy, timelines, and key decision points to maximise win probability.
  • Develop and manage bid plans, compliance frameworks, and submission schedules, proactively managing risks, issues, and dependencies along the way.
  • Coordinate and align contributions across the business to ensure a cohesive, high-quality submission every time.
  • Build compelling, client-focused win strategies, solution narratives, and value propositions aligned to client priorities and evaluation criteria.
  • Maintain rigorous standards across all submissions—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and commercial integrity, delivered on time and through the required channels.
  • Engage confidently with clients through briefings, workshops, and clarification processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing bid outcomes, strengthening knowledge libraries, and refining internal processes.
  • Champion the adoption of new tools and technologies to improve bid quality and efficiency.
About You
  • Proven experience in a Bid Coordinator role, ideally within the construction sector.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in communications, journalism, marketing, or a related discipline.
  • Strong capability across Adobe Suite and/or Canva, with advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
  • Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
