Our client is a successful and well-regarded Perth-based builder, working across Residential & Commercial projects.
The Opportunity:
In this newly established position, you will be responsible for managing payroll, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records using Xero, including preparing monthly financial statements and following up on overdue invoices.
- End-to-end processing of weekly payroll
- Maintain up-to-date financial records using Xero
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including supplier payments
- Generate and send client invoices and other expenses
- Checking overdue invoices and following up on payments
- Reconcile bank accounts, expense cards, petty cash, payroll accounts, and funding statements
- Preparing monthly financial statements
- Uploading payments and assisting with ad hoc finance duties as required
- 3+ years working as a bookkeeper for a residential builder, building supplier or commercial contractor
- Experience processing end to end payroll, accounts payable and receivables
- Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Office/Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
