Our client is a luxury, residential construction company specialising in high-end homes and renovations. Due to growth and some internal movements, they are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join the team based in their Eastern Suburbs office. This is a Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm role (may look at a 3-4 day week for the right candidate).
This role will be primarily leading the finance function for the business, working closely with the external Management Accountant. This is a close-knit, family business, so there will also be aspects of the role covering general business operations administration and HR support. There may also be elements of client-facing activities such a customer support, calls / emails with their high end clientele.
The Role
- Full function AP & AR & payroll
- Expense reconcilliations
- BAS/ GST & lodgement
- Cashflow forecasting & project costings
- General journal & ledger management
- Continuous improvement of payment processes
- Generating financial reports
- Asset management
- HR & Operations support
- Other adhoc requests & duties
- 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, construction background essential
- Basic knowledge of full function accounts
- Knowledge with MYOB
- Good attitude and excellent communication
- Renumeration package up to $80k + super, depending on experience
- Office based in Eastern Suburbs / Bondi Junction
