Reporting to the Director of Business Development , this is role sits at the centre of the BD function. You will own pipeline data, market analysis and reporting, working across Construction , Infrastructure , Water , Defence and beyond. It's a role for someone who enjoys bringing order to complexity, building better systems, and producing the analysis that informs senior decision-making.

Key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager
- Own the master opportunity list and pipeline data integrity — the single source of truth for the BD function
- Lead production of Committee Packs and act as the primary reporting interface into executive forums
- Drive BD business improvement across process, tools, systems and the BD SharePoint List
- Own market analysis, sector segmentation and strategic briefings across East AUS/NZ
- Co-own the BD budget, consolidating function-wide reporting for executive stakeholders
- Support the BD Director with pipeline reporting cadence, market insights and broader BD operations
- Be accountable to the BD Director for the quality and consistency of BD operations across the function
- Experience in business development, bid coordination, pursuit operations, market analysis or BD strategy within construction, infrastructure, engineering consultancy or a related sector
- Strong analytical mindset with a natural instinct for data integrity, structure and reporting discipline
- Comfortable producing clear, concise briefings and reporting for senior stakeholders
- Proficient with SharePoint, Excel and CRM/BD tools; an interest in improving systems and processes will set you apart
- Sector exposure across construction, infrastructure, water or defence will be highly regarded
- Tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, construction management or a related discipline preferred
