The Opportunity
This is a great chance for a junior or early-career carpenter to develop hands-on skills across a variety of commercial projects. You’ll work alongside experienced tradespeople and site teams, gaining exposure to all stages of construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with general carpentry tasks on site
- Work across formwork, framing, fix-out, and finishing
- Read and interpret basic plans and drawings
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Support site supervisors and leading hands as required
- 1–3 years carpentry experience or recently completed apprenticeship
- Basic understanding of construction processes
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- White Card (essential)
- Driver’s licence and own transport (preferred)
- Must have experience working in Australia
- Work with a respected Canberra builder
- Exposure to a variety of commercial projects
