Our client, a leading civil contractor in Brisbane, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in civil projects including roads, bridges, drainage, and subdivisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for civil infrastructure projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to assess scope and risks.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors for pricing input.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to value engineering initiatives.
- Assist with bid submissions and tender presentations.
- Proven experience in civil infrastructure estimating.
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and quantities.
- Proficient in estimating software
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management preferred.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in civil infrastructure estimating.
- Work on high-profile civil infrastructure projects across Brisbane and QLD.
