With a rich history of delivering on these standards, they have been able to hire and retain key personnel while maintaining a steady flow of future work, which is why they are looking to hire a Foreman or Supervisor with final trim and asphalt experience who can lead crews and share a similar outlook towards their work.
Working across the Perth metro area, this role will see you step into a Foreman position leading a civil crew while coordinating works including base preparation, earthworks, drainage, and final trim ready for asphalt paving.
Duties Include:
- Supervise and coordinate civil crews on site including operators, labourers, and subcontractors
- Plan and allocate daily tasks across base works, spoil removal, drainage, kerbing, and final trim
- Guide the safe and accurate use of machinery including skid steers, excavators, rollers, and compactors
- Ensure pre start checks, equipment upkeep, and safe work procedures are followed
- Monitor project progress, complete daily reports, and update the Project Manager
- Communicate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams on site
- Maintain strong safety, quality, and compliance standards
- Manage labour, plant, and materials to keep projects on schedule
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Prior experience as either a leading hand, foreman or supervisor in roadworks, subdivisions or asphalt preparation.
- An operating background with experience in final trim.
- Hold a White Card
- A strong understanding of both civil construction and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a hands on approach.
- The ability to read plans/specs, and work independently.
- Full Drivers Licence (HR Licence Preferred but not essential).
- Fulltime site leadership position.
- $120,000 + Superannuation.
- Perth based projects - Be home every night.
