About the Role
As a Project Engineer you’ll take ownership of end-to-end project delivery – from planning and procurement through to execution and completion. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, manage subcontractors, closely with the project manager and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple civil and infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
- Lead and coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, and reporting to ensure projects are on track.
- Drive compliance with WHS, environmental, and quality standards.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects moving smoothly.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer within civil construction or infrastructure, with at least 4 years experience on projects in Australia.
- Understanding of project delivery processes, contract administration, and site operations.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Be part of a well-respected and established civil contractor in the ACT.
