As a Colour Consultant, you’ll work closely with customers in a showroom environment, assisting them with selections that align with both their vision and the builder’s design guidelines.
About the Role
- Conducting exterior and interior selection appointments with clients
- Advising on finishes, fixtures, materials, and colour palettes
- Ensuring selections meet design standards, budgets, and build requirements
- Managing electrical plans and advising on this
- Preparing accurate documentation for construction and internal teams
- Liaising with sales, drafting, and construction teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Staying up to date with design trends and product ranges
- Experience as a Colour Consultant, Interior Designer, or similar role (project home building or residential experience highly regarded)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A good eye for colour, finishes, and spatial design
- Confidence working with clients in a consultative environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple appointments
- Proficiency with selection systems or design software (desirable)
