We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) Advisor to work with a Tier 1 Commercial construction company. This role will support the delivery of large-scale commercial projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and promoting a strong safety culture across all operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and systems across project sites
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Provide practical safety advice to project teams and stakeholders
- Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented
- Maintain accurate HSE documentation and reporting
- Assist in the development of safety training and awareness programs
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
- 3–5 years’ experience in an HSE role within commercial construction
- Strong knowledge of HSE legislation and best practices
- Experience working on large-scale projects (up to $100M preferred)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant qualifications in Occupational Health & Safety or similar
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
