This role gives you the chance to work on technically complex projects that truly matter, supporting clean water delivery and sustainable environmental outcomes. You'll be trusted to own the commissioning phase, working closely with both technical teams and clients.
On offer is an initial 3-month contract (either FTC or daily rate) with potential to extend, depending on upcoming workload.

The Role:
- Oversee and coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning and QA activities across mechanical, electrical and SCADA systems
- Review and manage ITPs, test sheets, FAT/SAT results and QA documentation
- Monitor quality and compliance on-site, raising and managing NCRs where needed
- Work closely with internal project teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery and handover
- Prepare commissioning plans, reports, and O&M documentation, including red-line mark-ups
- Ensure all works meet project specifications, are safe, and ready for client use
The Candidate:
- 3-5+ years' commissioning and QA experience in water/wastewater infrastructure (pump stations, odour control, chemical dosing etc.)
- Background in D&C projects with a strong focus on systems integration, testing and process handover
- Tier 1 experience highly regarded (e.g., John Holland, Sydney Water, Fulton Hogan), but open to Tier 2/3 candidates with relevant expertise
- Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders on active sites and resolving technical or sequencing issues
- Engineering qualifications preferred (electrical or chemical ideal) plus a White Card and valid driver's licence
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to work autonomously under pressure
