We are currently partnering with a well-established residential builder to recruit a newly created Area Manager – South Western Region position.
This is a senior leadership role suited to an experienced construction professional who can balance hands-on supervision of a busy build program while leading and developing a small team.
You will oversee a significant portfolio of builds across the region, managing performance, quality, and delivery timelines, while mentoring two trainee supervisors. This role offers a genuine pathway to Construction Manager and further senior leadership opportunities for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage a high-volume residential build program
- Lead, mentor, and develop two trainee supervisors
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Maintain strong relationships with trades and subcontractors
- Drive site safety, compliance, and performance outcomes
- Provide hands-on leadership across the Southwestern Region
- Carpentry trade qualification
- QBCC Supervisor’s Licence
- Proven experience managing volume residential builds
- Experience delivering dual occupancy and lowset homes
- Strong leadership and team management capability
- Stable employment history with demonstrated tenure
- Well-established trade network
- High level of organisation and time management
- QBCC Open Builder’s Licence
- Experience delivering townhouse projects
- Extensive management experience
- 10+ years in supervisory or builder roles
- Exposure to high-end custom home construction
