Design & Build Recruitment is searching for a talented and motivated Construction Manager to join our clients Commercial Construction business.The successful candidate will oversee construction teams, ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive the successful delivery of our clients' projects throughout South East Queensland. Key Responsibilities:
Construction Management:
- Establish and strengthen company systems and processes.
- Monitor construction progress and timelines for timely project completion.
- Train construction staff to improve their skills.
- Employ efficient practices while ensuring compliance with requirements.
- Supervise trade and supplier performance for quality and compliance.
- Review build time reports and provide feedback as needed.
- Performance management.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain records and set up new project sites.
- Guide and help the construction team reach project goals.
- Work closely with existing and new subcontractors.
- Empower all team members to go above and beyond.
- Provide regular reports to the CEO or overseas investors.
- Skills in financial analysis and negotiation.
- Solid product knowledge and project management abilities.
- Understanding of budgeting and legislation.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- QBCC open builders' licence, and willing to be the nominee - additional $$$ provided.
