Construction Manager
Design & Build Recruitment are searching for a talented and motivated Construction Manager to join our clients Commercial Construction business.The successful candidate will oversee construction teams (project & site managers) to ensure compliance with quality standards, and drive the successful delivery of projects throughout South East Queensland. Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor construction progress and timelines for timely project completion.
- Assist construction teams in using MS Project, Procore & Therefore software effectively.
- Train construction staff to improve their skills.
- Review build time reports and provide feedback as needed.
- Evaluate underperforming supervisors, managers, or teams.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, regulations, and standards.
- Guide and help the construction team reach project goals.
- Empower all team members to go above and beyond.
- Provide regular reports to the National Managers.
- Skills in financial analysis and negotiation.
- Solid product knowledge and project management abilities.
- Understanding of budgeting and legislation.
- Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
- Mentoring and coaching of staff
- Drive improvement through innovation.
