About the Role
This is a newly created Contract Administrator position in the Melbourne office, working directly with the Head of Construction and experienced Project Managers. With no other Contract Administrator currently in the Melbourne team, this role offers exposure, responsibility, and the opportunity to fast-track your development, particularly if you’re keen to step into a Project Manager role in the future.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement processes and subcontractor agreements
- Prepare and administer contracts, variations, and progress claims
- Collaborate with finance and delivery teams to ensure tight budget control
- Use Premier construction software for cost tracking and documentation
- Conduct occasional site visits and maintain communication with all project stakeholders
- Support the delivery of high-end fit-out projects from kick-off to completion
- Work closely with national pre-construction and design teams for seamless handovers
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Contract Administrator role
- Background in commercial construction – either in fit-out or new build
- Strong commercial understanding and confident with numbers
- Experience with (or quick to learn) Premier software
- Eager to progress into a Project Manager position
- Self-starter who thrives in a close-knit, fast-growing team environment
- $90,000–$120,000 + super (depending on experience)
- 2 days work from home
