The Opportunity
As part of ongoing growth and several projects in delivery, this builder-developer are looking for an experienced Contract Administrator
to join their team in a site-based role, on a large residential development ($150M+) on Sydney’s Lower North Shore.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a key role supporting the financial and contractual performance of a live construction project, working closely with the Project Manager, Senior Contract Administrator, site team and key subcontractors. You’ll be supported by senior leadership while gaining exposure to high-value residential and mixed-use builds from the ground up.
The Role
Working as part of the on-site project delivery team, your responsibilities will include:
- Administering construction contracts
- Managing procurement, subcontractor agreements, and scope preparation
- Tracking project costs and managing budgets, cost reports and forecasts
- Processing variations, progress claims, invoices and payments
- Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure compliance and delivery
- Identifying and managing contractual risks and supporting dispute resolution
- Preparing accurate and timely reporting to the broader project and commercial team
- Ensuring contract compliance with legal, regulatory and company standards
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related field
- 3+ years’ experience in a Contract Administrator role within the construction industry
- Strong working knowledge of construction contracts, financial tracking, and risk management
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and communication skills
- Proficient with contract admin systems and Microsoft Office

- Competitive salary up to $140,000 package depending on experience
