The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a secured pipeline of institutional and commercial work, this builder is looking to appoint an experienced Senior Contract Administrator
to join their Sydney team.
You’ll play a key role in the commercial management of high-profile refurbishment and upgrade projects across universities and government departments, partnering closely with Project Managers, site teams and the senior leadership group to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.
The Role
Reporting into the Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Full contract administration and financial oversight of multiple live projects
- Managing head contracts and subcontractor packages, including procurement and scope definition
- Preparing, tracking and managing variations, claims, and payment schedules
- Cost reporting and forecasting in collaboration with senior stakeholders
- Supporting compliance with all contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements
- Assisting with commercial risk management and dispute resolution
- Building trusted relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in a Contract Administrator role, with recent experience at a senior level
- Proven track record working on complex commercial or institutional refurbishment projects
- Strong attention to detail and excellent understanding of construction contracts and cost control
- Excellent communication, negotiation and reporting skills
- A proactive team player who enjoys taking ownership and driving project outcomes
- Salary package up to $180,000 + Super depending on experience
- A supportive leadership team and flat structure with real autonomy
- Exposure to high-quality projects in live and logistically complex environments
