We’re looking for an experienced Contract Administrator to join a leading Tier 2 Australian builder with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality education and community projects across NSW.
This role will see you working on pre-school and education new builds valued up to $5 million, based on projects around the Newcastle region.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and managing subcontractor packages and procurement schedules
- Reviewing, negotiating, and administering contracts and variations
- Managing progress claims, cost control, and forecasting
- Supporting the Project Manager with financial reporting and commercial performance
- Maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and clients
- Proven experience on education or community new builds (ideally valued around $3M-7M)
- Strong commercial and contract administration skills
- Experience using Procore
- A detail-oriented and organised approach to managing budgets and documentation
- Sound understanding of construction processes and subcontractor management
- Tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- A proactive attitude and a team-first mindset
