The Opportunity
Due to continued project wins across Sydney, the business is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join the commercial team on a major upcoming project.
You’ll work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager to provide full commercial and contractual support across procurement, cost control, reporting, and subcontract management. This is a key role with clear progression pathways toward Senior CA.
The Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Packaging, tendering, and procuring subcontractor and supplier packages
- Preparing and managing subcontract agreements, variations, RFIs, and progress claims
- Assisting with financial control including cost reporting, forecasting, and budget tracking
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and consultant documentation for scope clarity
- Supporting head contract administration and compliance obligations
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve design or commercial issues
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and supporting project reporting
- Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent
- 3–6+ years’ experience as a CA within commercial construction, ideally with a Tier 2 builder
- Strong understanding of contracts, procurement, and commercial processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Experience in education, health, commercial or government projects will be highly regarded
- Salary package up to $150,000 + Super, depending on experience
