The Opportunity
Due to continued growth and a major Sydney project entering delivery in a couple of months, they are seeking a capable Contract Administrator to join the project team and support the commercial and contractual performance of a landmark development.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile, design-led project, gaining exposure to full lifecycle delivery within a well-structured developer-builder environment.
The Role
Working closely with the Project Manager and Senior Contract Administrator team, your responsibilities will include:
- Procurement and administration of subcontractor and supplier packages
- Preparing scopes, letting contracts, and managing subcontract agreements
- Assessing and administering variations, progress claims and payment schedules
- Assisting with cost tracking, forecasting and monthly commercial reporting
- Reviewing drawings and consultant documentation for scope clarity and risk
- Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and internal delivery teams
- Supporting contract compliance, reporting and project close-out processes
- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in a Contract Administrator role within apartment or mixed-use construction
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement and cost control
- Detail-oriented with excellent organisational and communication skills
- Confident working in a fast-paced, professional project environment
- Experience on design-led or developer-builder projects will be highly regarded
- Salary package up to $140,000 + Super, depending on experience
