About the Role
Working closely with Project Managers, you will be responsible for the administration, procurement, and cost control functions across multiple commercial projects. This position suits someone who enjoys the commercial and administrative side of construction and prefers a structured office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing, reviewing, and administering subcontract and supplier agreements
- Managing procurement schedules and trade package letting from the office
- Assessing progress claims, variations, and cost reports
- Maintaining accurate project documentation and cost trackers
- Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and final accounts
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants via phone and email
- Providing commercial support to Project Managers and site teams
- Experience as a Contract Administrator within commercial construction
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident working in an office-based role supporting multiple projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Salary up to $120,000 + super, depending on experience
