This is a dual-function role, ideal for someone with a solid construction foundation who enjoys being involved across coordination, contract administration and site support, and is looking to step up in responsibility.
The Project:
- Refurbishment of an existing warehouse into arts and entertainment venue
- Well-sequenced program with a strong 2-year pipeline of secured work
- Well-run, low-pressure project environment
- Project coordination and contract administration support
- Assisting with construction documentation and project reporting
- Procurement, pricing, quotes and subcontractor engagement
- Supporting OH&S documentation and site compliance
- Liaising with consultants, trades and external OH&S advisors
- Assisting with building permits and occupancy permits
- Program tracking using Microsoft Project and Excel
- Supporting feasibility work (Estate Master experience advantageous)
- Interpreting and marking up drawings and plans
- Providing site support and assisting with trade coordination when required
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Project Coordinator, CA or similar role
- Degree in Construction Management or equivalent
- Experience in commercial fit-outs and refurbishment projects
- Organised, proactive and detail-oriented
- Strong communication skills and professional presentation
- Comfortable working closely with site teams and senior management
- OH&S knowledge or certification highly regarded
- Looking to grow with a builder who values capability and initiative
- Salary guide: $130,000 – $150,000 + super
