About the Role
You will play a key role in supporting the commercial and contractual management of construction projects from procurement through to final accounts. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, and subcontractors, you’ll ensure all contractual obligations are met, risks are managed, and project costs are controlled.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer head contracts and subcontract agreements across multiple projects
- Prepare, review, and manage progress claims, variations, and payment schedules
- Support procurement processes including tender analysis and subcontractor negotiations
- Maintain accurate project cost reporting, forecasts, and budgets
- Assist with contract compliance, documentation, and risk management
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure timely delivery and commercial outcomes
- Manage subcontractor correspondence and dispute resolution where required
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of Australian Standard contracts (AS2124 / AS4000 or similar)
- Experience working on commercial, residential, or civil projects (or a mix of these)
- Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously while being part of a collaborative team
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or similar (preferred but not essential)
