Key Responsibilities
Contract Management
  • Lead contract reviews, develop departure schedules, and manage execution and compliance
  • Monitor contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle
Scope & Procurement
  • Prepare detailed scopes of work and tender packages
  • Coordinate subcontractor prequalification processes
Commercial Oversight
  • Lead contract discussions during weekly project reviews
  • Track cost to complete and forecast final project outcomes
Negotiation & Vendor Management
  • Manage subcontractor negotiations in line with project risk frameworks
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with contractors and suppliers
Subcontractor Management
  • Maintain subcontractor registers and oversee key contract data
  • Ensure subcontractors deliver in accordance with agreed scopes
Claims & Variations
  • Assess and respond to delay notices, extension of time claims, and variation claims
  • Prepare clear and professional contractual correspondence
Risk & Compliance
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, procurement, and legal requirements
Dispute Resolution
  • Manage disputes and significant claims with subcontractors
  • Provide structured and well-documented resolutions
Reporting & Analysis
  • Deliver regular reporting on contract performance and project metrics
  • Provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making
Key Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience administering contracts valued between $5M and $20M
  • Experience managing both upstream client contracts and downstream subcontracts
  • Strong commercial and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, or utilities is essential
