Contracts Admin
Design & Build is working with a well-established commercial and residential builder who is looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team based on the Gold Coast.
You will be working on a large scale multi-residential developments valued at up to $150M. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fantastic company with a strong pipeline of future projects. They pride themselves on the quality of their work and are looking for someone passionate to join their close knit team.
As the Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
- Work closely with the procurement team
- Engage with all internal project stakeholders
- Progress claim assistance and external variations
- Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts
- Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
- Administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
To be considered for the position of Contracts Administrator you will require:
- Previous experience working as a CA or Senior CA on commercial or multi-res projects
- Experience of working on projects of at least $50M in value
- Willing to support and train junior CA’s
- Strong attention to detail and proven communication skills
- Previous experience managing sub-contractors with programming, supervision and contracts administration
- Strong negotiating skills to implement contracts with sub-contractors and suppliers to satisfy budgets, quality, safety and time requirements
