The Role
As Contracts Administrator, you will work closely with the Project Manager and wider delivery team to support the successful delivery of education construction projects valued between $5M and $35M.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing head contract and subcontract administration across multiple education projects
- Preparing, reviewing and issuing subcontract agreements and scopes of work
- Managing variations, progress claims and payment schedules
- Cost tracking, forecasting and budget management
- Procurement of trades and suppliers in line with project programmes
- Ensuring contractual compliance and maintaining accurate project documentation
- Supporting project reporting and maintaining project management systems
- Assisting with risk management, value engineering and commercial negotiations
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients
- 2+ years' experience as a Contracts Administrator within the construction industry
- Experience delivering education, commercial or refurbishment projects valued from $5M upwards
- Strong understanding of Australian standard form contracts (AS4000, AS2124 etc.)
- Excellent commercial acumen with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Salary package up to $160k plus super (depending on experience)
