Contracts Administrator
Design & Build Recruitment is searching for a motivated and enthusiastic Contracts Administrator to join our clients well established team. You will be working on a landmark multistorey residential development in the Gold Coast which is due to go on for the next few years. The successful applicant will be rewarded with a permanent position with a company that will truly invest in your career and personal development.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience as a Contracts Administrator on high rise residential projects and will have been exposed to projects over $50M. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of longevity with previous construction companies.
Your Experience and Qualifications
- Relevant Contracts Administration or Project Management experience
- Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and subcontractors alike
- Autonomy to work individually and as a part of a team
- Understanding of construction practices and processes
- The ability to write a detailed scope of works
- Intimate knowledge of QLD Construction legislation
- Knowledge of environmental management responsibilities
- Experience with head contract and subcontract negotiation skills
Your Duties and Responsibilities
- Contractual dispute resolution
- Heavily involved in the procurement process
- Prepare subcontractor documents
- Monthly preparation and presentation of project reports
- Financial monitoring and planning
- Preparing and presenting progress claims
- Stakeholder engagement and management
- Adhere and value safety principles and practices
