Contracts Administrator
I am working with a leading commercial builder delivering high-quality commercial new build projects across Brisbane. Currently seeking an organised and proactive Contract Administrator to join the team and support the delivery of construction projects valued up to $40M. Projects will be within the education, social housing and industrial space.
This is a key role for someone who thrives on detail, enjoys managing contracts, and works collaboratively with project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
The Role
As Contract Administrator, you will provide critical support to the project and commercial teams by managing contract documentation, procurement processes, and subcontractor agreements, ensuring compliance with company and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage contracts, variations, and subcontractor agreements
- Administer project documentation, including RFIs, correspondence, and progress claims
- Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Support the project team with cost tracking and reporting
- Ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and company requirements
- Assist with risk management and dispute resolution processes
About You
- Proven experience as a Contract Administrator on commercial new build projects
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, procurement, and project documentation
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- High-level communication skills and the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Relevant construction qualifications or experience preferred
